Dr. Heydt has extensive experience in complex academic healthcare institutions with demonstrable accomplishments in hospital and group practice management, quality, business development, financial and operational improvements, and education. Dr. Heydt received his M.D from Temple University School of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gwynedd-Mercy College.
Dr. Heydt was CEO UCR Health, and Senior Associate Dean-Clinical Affairs at the University of California, Riverside. AS CEO UCR Health, Dr. Heydt was responsible for the initiation and development of the newly accredited School of Medicine. He was Senior Associate Dean-Clinical Affairs, President & CEO- University Physicians & Surgeons, and Chief Ambulatory Officer at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Heydt has decades of experience building and running medical education programs across the United States. Doc1 Health has been accredited by ACGME for Graduate Medical Education programs. Dr. Heydt is developing Doc1 Health residency physician training programs across the United States, and he is developing Physician, Nurse Practitioner and and Physician Pipeline Programs.
